Daniel Shelton has an Environmental Engineering degree from Oregon State University. After graduation, he co-founded and managed Aptia Engineering, which designs and manufactures cutting edge processing equipment and provides engineering process support for the botanical extraction, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and solvent recycling industries.
His passion for process improvement and focus on supporting clients were instrumental in growing Aptia Engineering into a multiple million-dollar a year company. He successfully exited from Aptia in late 2021 and has remained active in the processing space by providing consulting; equipment sourcing, evaluations and systems auditing; and occasional project commissioning.
